Angela Lansbury Film Festival

2014 was a homecoming for Dame Angela Lansbury, grand-daughter of politician, social reformer and local hero, George Lansbury.

Personally selected screenings of seven of her most iconic moves delighted residents old and young, with Chrisp Street Market transformed into an outdoor cinema for the event. The festival was brought about through Accents’ partnership with the George Lansbury Memorial Committee, and garnered £1.2m in positive publicity.
